Corrections
If an article states something that is not true, we want to know, and we would rather hear it from a reader than not hear it at all. Tell us which article and what is wrong. If you have a source, include it; if you do not, send it anyway and we will go and check.
Corrections are made in the article itself, with a note saying what changed. We do not quietly edit the record.
Puzzle submissions
We do not currently publish reader-made puzzles, so a submission here will get a friendly no. What we can usually do is point you at the right market - the practical version of that advice is in how to get your first crossword published, which covers where to send a first grid and what to expect back.
Questions about an article
Welcome, and worth asking. A question that comes in twice usually becomes a paragraph in the article, or occasionally its own piece. Say which article you are asking about so it reaches the right desk - the four of them are listed on the masthead.
Every good correction we have ever received started with the words I think you have this backwards.
Everything else
Advertising enquiries get a polite decline. We do not run sponsored articles or paid links, which makes the conversation short.
