PuzzleMakers Newsletter
One email a week: new articles, constructor notes and a fresh mini crossword.
What actually arrives
- The week's articles. Usually two or three, from Crosswords, Word Search, Logic or Constructing.
- Constructor notes. A short piece of workbench writing that does not warrant a full article - a grid pattern that worked, a clue that did not.
- A mini crossword. Five by five, solvable in under two minutes, with the answers in the following week.
What does not
No sponsored placements, no affiliate links dressed as recommendations, and no tracking pixels. The unsubscribe link is at the top of every issue rather than buried at the bottom, because a newsletter you cannot leave is not a newsletter.
If an issue is not worth your Sunday, do not read it. We would rather you skipped one than left entirely.
New here?
Start with how to make a crossword puzzle, which is the piece most people arrive for, then what makes a Monday a Monday if you mostly solve, or why the first twelve squares matter most if you mostly build. The whole back catalogue is in the archive.
